Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21 1956) is a British-Canadian actress popular for her part as Samantha Jones in the HBO show Sex and the City for which she was awarded five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. She reprised the lead role on the Sex and the City (2008 as well as Sex and the City 2) (2010) films. She is also known for her leading roles in the films of the 1980s Police Academy Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin and Porky's. Kim Cattrall will be remembered by her role as Samantha Jones in the HBO sitcom Sex & the City. Cattrall has earned a reputation for herself as an actor. The role she played as Samantha Jones was one of her most memorable roles. This was more than popular with viewers within her country of birth and led to her becoming a world-renowned star. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. The most famous of her roles was portraying the character La Dolce Vita, a comedy-drama. The film won an Oscar and received the Golden Palm in Cannes Film Festival of 1960. It also was commercially and critically popular and critically acclaimed. Before beginning her acting profession, she was the Swedish fashion model. She won the Miss Sweden competition. Following her move in the US she began performing in a variety of films and playing minor characters. She played in the film Venusian guard in Abbott and Costello Go to Mars, her first credit role. Following that following her appearance as an unproven newcomer on the set of Blood Alley she was awarded the Golden Globe in the most exciting category.
